The sun was getting ready to set in the Pride Lands, a big orange and yellow ball slowly descending towards the horizon. Down in the jungle a human was looking for food.

As I sat in the rocker, nursing my third kitt, rocking the small furry babe back to sleep. My mind drifted back to a time 10 years ago when this all started. I sometimes try and imagine the person I once was and find the memory fading, hard to recapture. I look at myself now in the semi dark room and see a creature that you may think impossible...
The dark night was silent and not a sound could be heard in the lush forest
as the human made his way through. He was surrounded by utter darkness that
was reinforced by the fact that he was lost. For three hours had he been
walking and yet there was no sign of the road or the parking where his car
